About Marlborough – Our Place, Our People, Our Wine
Marlborough consists of an extensive network of coastal waterways, peninsulas, inlets and islands. Marlborough is known for its stunning Marlborough Sounds, and between the smaller sounds of Queen Charlotte and Kenepuru, is the famous Queen Charlotte track.

As you head inland Marlborough shows off stunning vineyards woven through its valleys. The valleys are surrounded by dramatic river terraces and striking mountain ranges. With hot days and cool nights Marlborough boasts some of the highest sunshine hours in the country. Marlborough is the perfect environment for grape growing.
